Ben Chilwell: Chelsea £50m deal to sign Leicester left-back almost done.

Chelsea are on the verge of agreeing a deal to sign left-back Ben Chilwell from Leicester for a deal in excess of £50m.
A deal between the clubs was "almost done" on Tuesday evening, according to a source involved in the negotiations, and could be announced as soon as Wednesday.



Chelsea beat Leicester to a Champions League place on the final day of the 2019/20 Premier League season - pushing the Foxes into the Europa League - and have now convinced them to part with one of their prized assets.
Chilwell, whose Leicester contract runs until 2024, is keen to make the move to Stamford Bridge, where he is set to join Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, who have already signed from Ajax and RB Leipzig, respectively.
